Meet Dr. Jessica Simon

Hi, I’m Dr. Jessica Simon, a board-certified pediatric dentist, wife, and mama of two. I know what it’s like to want the very best for your child—not just excellent care, but a place where they feel safe, loved, and celebrated. That’s why I created Pure Hearts Pediatric Dentistry, Charlotte’s first sensory-friendly dental home designed with both kids and parents in mind.

I grew up in Brooklyn, New York, and from a young age, I knew I wanted to work with children. Over the years, that calling has only grown stronger. During my undergraduate years at University of Rochester I traveled to Malawi Africa, on a mission trip supporting children with medical and dental needs. That experience left a lasting impact and earned me the Best Teacher Award, sparking my passion for empowering families and reshaping how children experience dental care.

I earned my Doctorate of Dental Medicine from Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, OH and completed my pediatric dental specialty training at Cohen’s Children’s Medical Center. Board-certified by the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry, I bring over a decade of experience in treating infants, children, and adolescents—including those with special needs and sensory sensitivities. I’m known for my gentle approach, innovative techniques, and ability to help even the most anxious patients feel at peace and leave with confident smiles.
As a mom, I understand that every child is unique. That’s why I designed Pure Hearts to meet kids right where they are—whether they need extra time to warm up, a calming sensory-friendly space, or simply a little more patience and love.

I currently reside in Steele Creek with my husband, Dr. Pernell Rogers (who’s also a dentist), and our two kids, Jayla and Jordan. When I’m not in the office, you’ll find me spending quality time with my family, serving at church, traveling, or enjoying life as a mom.

At Pure Hearts Pediatric Dentistry, my mission is simple: to provide excellent dental care wrapped in compassion, faith, and a mama’s heart—because every child deserves to feel safe and celebrated.
